About Jewelology
Remembrance through Mindful Art
Unveil the Light of Your Inner Jewel
At Jewelology, we believe that each person carries an inner jewel — a deep source of wisdom, love, and vitality — often obscured by the stresses and wounds of life. Through mindful art, we invite you to slow down, reconnect with your inner world, and allow your body to tell its own story.
Beneath the surface of thought and language, our body holds unspoken memories and unprocessed emotions. These often shape our experience in ways we may not fully understand. Current neurological research shows that experiences of stress and trauma are stored in the body’s implicit memory and nervous system — which is why embodied, creative practices can play a vital role in restoring balance and wellbeing.
“Healing takes place when we bring the unconscious into consciousness.”
— Dr. Carl Gustav Jung
At Jewelology, we integrate mindful art-making with insights from Jungian psychology, particularly the use of active imagination and archetypal imagery. We draw inspiration from Sensorimotor Art Therapy® and related body-focused approaches, offering an embodied path for self-exploration and personal growth.
Our creative workshops provide a safe and supportive space for participants to explore inner imagery, express emotional and somatic movements through mindful drawing, rhythmic mark-making, and tactile art-making. Through this process, participants can experience a gentle release of emotional blocks, a renewed flow of energy, an enhanced capacity for authentic connection, and a deepened awareness of the true self.
“The expression of inner movements onto paper or through clay enables clients to become their own potent healers.”
— Cornelia Elbrecht
We work with both individuals and groups, offering:
Private creative coaching sessions
Corporate and community creative workshops
Mindful painting classes
Guided art experiences (available in person or online)
Our sessions are not clinical therapy, but a guided creative process that complements personal growth and wellbeing journeys. We aim to foster an environment where you can safely explore your inner world, cultivate embodied awareness, and reconnect with your innate vitality.
“The truth of life lies in the awareness of one’s true nature; only by recognizing the self can the path to true healing begin.”
— Dr. John D. Young
Through mindful art, rhythmic movement, and embodied imagination, we invite you to remember the wisdom of your body, release what no longer serves you, and unveil the light of your inner jewel — a space of joy, authenticity, and inner peace.
Dr. Wang Jing
Dr. Jing Wang holds dual PhD degress from the University of Sheffield (UK) and Tohoku University (Japan), with academic training in philosophy and social well-being.
For over a decade, she has devoted herself to exploring the deeper truths of life and the universe through extensive reading and immersive practice across diverse spiritual traditions, religious philosophies, and psychological modalities.
Dr. Wang not only holds a rigorous academic background but also walks a profound spiritual path. Following a sudden and powerful Kundalini awakening, she devoted the next 8 years to sincere seeking and dedicated practice across various spiritual traditions and psychological disciplines. This journey culminated in a direct experience of enlightenment (though paradoxically, there is no separate “self” to experience it). She continues to walk the path of integration and realization, deepening her understanding and supporting others on their own paths of awakening.
Dr. Wang leads specialised psychological and spiritual healing workshops and offers one-to-one consultations, addressing a wide range of emotional, psychological, and spiritual issues. Her practice includes working with clients experiencing autism spectrum conditions, anxiety disorders, trauma-related symptoms, and other complex emotional challenges.
We invite you to deepen your perspective on life and relationships via our work—so that you may come to better understand others and the world through your connections, uncover deeper truths, and find liberation and awakening from the imprints of the past.
Octavia Xiaozi Yang
Octavia Xiaozi Yang is an award-winning contemporary artist and certified trauma-informed creative facilitator, dedicated to helping individuals reconnect with their inner world through mindful creativity. She holds a Master of Arts from the University of the Arts London (UAL) and is formally trained in Guided Drawing and Clay Field practices, certified by the Institute for Sensorimotor Art Therapy.
Her approach weaves together principles from psychology, neuroscience, somatic integration, spiritual cultivation, and ancient Eastern wisdom. Rooted in more than a decade of dedicated contemplative practice, Octavia draws inspiration from Buddhist philosophy, Chinese metaphysics to create a healing space that bridges body, mind, and spirit.
At the heart of her work is the belief that the body and subconscious speak through image, sensation, and movement. Influenced by C.G. Jung’s active imagination and archetypal psychology, she guides participants through non-verbal processes where spontaneous drawing and embodied creativity become pathways to emotional awareness and healing.
Octavia’s sessions invite participants to gently explore inner narratives, emotional tension, and family dynamics through intuitive mark-making, tactile expression, and mindful reflection. Her work supports both adults and children, offering a nurturing space to reconnect with the self, cultivate resilience, and rediscover the joy of being.
As a mother, Octavia also brings a grounded, heart-centered perspective to her practice. She finds joy in yoga, art , music, and time in nature. Her own journey—navigating cross-cultural life and redefining success—not by striving harder to meet external expectations, but by returning to her authentic self, fuels her passion to support others in doing the same: creating a life of inner richness, integration, and meaning.
Alongside her facilitation work, Octavia is also a recognised contemporary artist. Her sculptural and installation-based works have been exhibited internationally and featured alongside artists such as Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood. She was awarded the Swarovski Jewelry Design Award at International Talent Support (ITS) in Italy, and her work has been featured in global media including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and China Daily.
Through her project Jewelology, Octavia offers a creative and meditative space where art meets presence—empowering individuals of all ages to awaken inner creativity, regulate the nervous system, and return to a state of wholeness.
"When our subconscious mind is seen, our fate is rewritten."
— Carl Jung
