Embodied Mindful Art Healing — 1:1 Coaching

Remembrance through Mindful Art

Facilitator: Octavia Yang

Welcome to a one-on-one art healing journey rooted in the profound principles of Carl Jung’s active imagination, Guided Drawing (informed by the Institute for Sensorimotor Art Therapy), and gentle guided meditation.

This is a creative, body-led process that invites your inner world to emerge through spontaneous drawing, allowing subconscious images, gestures, and emotional sensations to rise—beyond the rational mind. Through this bottom-up approach, your subconscious begins to express itself not through explanation, but through movement, color, and living form.

When the unseen is gently witnessed, transformation begins. As subconscious stories surface and are met with awareness, the tangled energy they hold can begin to soften and release. To witness is to return. To express is to reconnect.

This session is not about making art. It’s about letting the body speak in its own visual language—free from judgment, interpretation, or pressure.

Inner Relief, Healing and self-awakening

In our one-to-one journey together, I invite you into an inner space of transformation, clarity, and fulfillments. My approach is not limited to academic rigor—although I value deep intellectual inquiry—I have also explored diverse healing paths for over a decade, drawing from both Eastern and Western traditions.

Through our sessions, I will share insights and embodied experiences from this cross-cultural exploration. My intention is to support you in opening your heart, healing emotional wounds, and awakening to the truth of who you truly are.

Expressing Emotions Through Art — 1:1 Kids Session

Gentle Developmental Support

Facilitator: Octavia Yang

A safe, creative space for children to explore emotions with their hands

In this hands-on, child-centered drawing & clay play session, children explore touch, movement, and form. Clay becomes a medium for self-expression, grounding, and emotional release. Using Guided Drawing and Clay Field methods, based on the Institute for Sensorimotor Art Therapy (ISAT) , this session supports non-verbal expression, emotional regulation, sensory development, and body awareness in a nurturing, non-judgmental environment.

This approach is especially helpful for children experiencing emotional tension, communication challenges, increased restlessness, or developmental delays.

What this session offers:

  • Emotional release & self-regulation: Clay’s texture helps children feel safe and express feelings without words.

  • Fine motor development & sensory integration: Strengthens hand muscles, coordination, and foundational skills like writing.

  • Free play & self-led discovery: Children explore at their own pace with gentle facilitator support.

This is a supportive space for growth, not therapy. It provides emotional exploration and developmental support, but is not a clinical intervention.

Kids’ Creative Art and Craft Classes

When children draw with what they love, their hearts begin to speak through their hands.

About This Course

This term’s classes are a joyful celebration of art, creativity, and self-expression, thoughtfully designed to nurture your child’s imagination and emotional well-being.

Each week, children will explore the expressive power of colour and composition by observing the works of renowned artists like Van Gogh, Matisse, Monet, and Rousseau. They’ll learn how artists communicate feelings through their art and will be guided to respond with their own creative voice. The course blends artistic appreciation with hands-on fun, helping children grow in confidence while developing their artistic skills.

At the heart of our approach is the belief that art is more than a skill — it’s a pathway for children to connect with their inner world, express emotions, and shine in their own unique way. We create a warm, encouraging space where joy, creativity, and love guide every activity.
